Meet the team behind BSides South Jersey.
BSides conferences began as a grassroots movement to create vendor-neutral, community-driven cybersecurity events. The "B-Sides" concept originated from the music industry, representing the alternative tracks that didn't make it to the A-side of a record - in our case, the talks and ideas that might not fit into traditional conference formats but are equally valuable.
BSides South Jersey emerges from the recognition that the tri-state area's cybersecurity community needed a dedicated forum for knowledge exchange that combines the accessibility of regional events with the depth of specialized technical content.
We believe cybersecurity knowledge should be accessible to all. Our talks, workshops, and discussions are designed to transfer practical skills and theoretical understanding across experience levels.
Our conference prioritizes community building over commercial interests. We focus on creating genuine connections between cybersecurity professionals and fostering long-term collaborative relationships.

This policy applies to everyone at the event. Participants violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from the event without a refund at the discretion of the conference organizers.

Exceptions for Educational Content: We recognize that in the security field, discussion of sensitive topics is sometimes necessary. Discussion of sensitive topics such as but not limited to images related to sex, pornography, discriminatory language, or similar subjects are permissible only if they meet all of the following criteria:
