BSides South Jersey is powered by passionate volunteers who share a commitment to building a stronger cybersecurity community. Whether you're a security professional, student, or enthusiast, we welcome your help in creating an exceptional conference experience for attendees from across the region.
We accept both local and remote volunteers throughout the year. All volunteers must be at least 18 years of age.
Ticket Sales & Registration
Help manage ticket sales, attendee registration, and check-in
processes. Support our efforts to make the registration
experience smooth and welcoming for all participants.
Social Media & Marketing
Assist with content creation, community engagement, and
spreading the word about BSides South Jersey across various
social media platforms. Help us reach more people in the
cybersecurity community.
After Party Planning
Help organize our post-conference networking event. Coordinate
with venues, manage logistics, and ensure our attendees have a
memorable evening of connection and celebration.
Capture The Flag (CTF) Competition
Support our CTF competition by helping with challenge
development, infrastructure setup, participant support, and
scoring. Perfect for those with technical security skills.
Villages & Tables
Assist in organizing and staffing our specialized villages and
activity tables. Help create engaging hands-on experiences for
attendees exploring different areas of cybersecurity.
Food & Venue Coordination
Support logistics including catering coordination, vendor
management, and venue setup. Help ensure our attendees are
well-fed and our space is organized and welcoming.
Merchandise & Swag
Help design, order, and distribute conference merchandise and
swag. Manage inventory and assist with distribution at the
event.
